What if I accidentally breach while in profit?

Breach rules when account is profitable

A rule breach applies regardless of whether your account is profitable.

If your equity touches or falls below the daily loss limit or maximum drawdown level at any time, the account is terminated automatically.

Example

  • Account balance: $105,000

  • Daily loss limit: $102,000

You open a trade that causes your equity to fall to $101,900.

Even though the account is overall profitable, the account is still terminated because the daily loss limit was breached.

Important

  • Breaches are enforced in real time using equity

  • Open positions always count toward equity

  • There are no warnings or exceptions for rule breaches
