How does daily loss work on funded accounts?

Daily loss limit rules for funded accounts

The daily loss limit is the maximum your funded account can lose in a single day.
If your equity hits this limit at any point, your account will be terminated.

Funded accounts use the same daily loss percentages and calculation method as evaluations, but payouts affect your balance and daily loss limit.

How it works

Your daily loss limit is calculated once per day at 08:00 PM UTC, based on your account balance at that time.

  • It’s a percentage of your balance

  • Once set, it stays fixed for the entire day

  • It does not change during the day

  • It is calculated using balance and enforced in real time using equity

Daily loss percentages

  • Degen Mode: 2%

  • 1-Step funded accounts: 3%

Balance vs equity

  • Balance includes only closed trades

  • Equity includes balance plus open profit or loss

The daily loss limit is calculated using balance and enforced using equity.
Open positions always count toward the limit.

Payouts and daily loss

When a payout is processed:

  • Your balance is reduced by the payout amount

  • Your daily loss limit is reduced by the same amount

  • The updated limit stays fixed until the next 08:00 PM UTC reset

Example (1-Step Funded Account)

Starting balance: $100,000
